I like hentai but I’m still surprised when I found out that other people are really into it. XL Hentai is big on making promises about what they have in the member’s area. They say it’s the world hottest, smuttiest anime, manga and drawn sex. They say they have videos and pictures of all your favorite anime heroes engaged in hot hardcore acts. I don’t know if these things are true (yet) but they do have good pictures of the promised action and there are preview videos showing anime sucking and fucking. I particularly like the second video with the girls sucking cock and sitting on cock. Hopefully the member’s area will have even more power to turn me on.

Given the prominence of pink on the tour I was a little surprised to see black and gray as the primary colors used in the member’s area. It’s a bit of a downer but the design is really quite good so I’m good. The eight most recent additions are listed on the member’s main page and at the moment they’re updating once a week. When that update is a video that runs 30 minutes it’s just fine. When that update is a short comic it feels like you’re not getting what you paid for.

They have nearly 400 updates listed so I suppose that’s not a strong complaint. You’ll have plenty of porn to look through before you get tired of the site. It’s updated a lot like a blog with a new post weekly that’s given several tags and those tags are really the only way to browse the content if you don’t just want to browse by date added. They have a list of roughly thirty that you can find on the right side of the page but for some reason they don’t list them in alphabetical order. There doesn’t appear to be any order, in fact. That makes it a pain in the ass. The movies are listed under the tag anime instead of movies, which is just stupid.

You can also use the search function. It looks through the descriptions, tags and titles for keywords so there’s a chance you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for. At the very top of the page you’ll see a scrolling image that lists all the bonus sites along with XL Hentai. You can control the speed of the scrolling. When you get to XL Hentai you can choose to see the movies, the picture galleries or the manga so you can get right to the specific type of content you want to see. It’s very handy and saves you from dealing with the annoying tag organization.

With nearly 400 updates they’ve produced an impressive collection of content at XL Hentai. As I mentioned it’s divided into many different types and I found them all entertaining. First there’s the manga. These are basically hentai comics. At XL Hentai they’re almost entirely done without color. It’s white, black and a little bit of sepia toned coloring. That probably makes them easier and cheaper to produce so I’m all for it if that means we get more of them. The manga is interesting because it provides you with genuine storylines to follow before delving into the hardcore. The more developed they get with the storylines the more interesting the hentai is for more. Is it the same for you?

They have roughly 130 movies for download at XL Hentai. They provide four screenshots from each of them and then you click and the Flash player pops up so you can start streaming immediately. The videos stream at 640x480 and look good. I was not able to fast forward though. I could only go as far as had been downloaded. Most are 20-35 minutes long and everything I watched was in English, which is awesome. The sound is a big part of the pleasure with a good hentai film. These delve into a variety of niches with all kinds of hardcore fucking and tons of kinky action. If you want bondage, costumes and other dirty desires from your hentai movies they have it. This is far from the biggest collection of hentai movies online though so it’s not really worth the exorbitant membership fee if you’re just into movies.

They also have roughly 130 picture galleries featuring hot hentai girls. Typically the image galleries feature a consistent theme. They’re telling a story of some sort but it’s not always easy to decipher what it is because you’re just looking at a busty hentai girl and you can’t really think of anything else. The artwork is fantastic though. The drawings are crisp and clear, the babes are beautifully depicted and they deliver the goods. There are four bonus sites with your membership and they make joining a worthwhile experience. They cover four different areas: superheroes in cartoon fucking form, pornographic sketches, hardcore sex with famous cartoon characters and 3d toon porn.

XL Hentai has taken the jack of all trades master of none approach. They have almost 400 updates that have been equally divided between manga, picture galleries and videos. That means they have a reasonable but not huge collection of each type. If you want a big movie, manga or picture collection you should look elsewhere. If you want high quality versions of all three content types then you’ve arrived at the right place. It’s also an exceptionally valuable site if you’re looking for bonus content outside of the hentai genre. They have four sites and when you put it all together you have well over 1200 updates featuring cartoon porn.

I’m a big fan of XL Hentai. The only thing I would change is to make them update more. They used to give us 2-3 additions a week when the site was still relatively new and that’s how it grew into this high quality production in the first place. If they went back to that I would consider becoming a member again.

I know they have a nice network of cartoon porn here but it’s still too much to charge $34.95/month. I just can’t get over how expensive that is and I want them to knock $5 off the price. They don’t even let you join for three or six months at a time for a discount. These folks want every dollar you have.

If you like hentai it’s pretty hard not to be a fan of XL Hentai. The only real reason not to go for a membership is if you balk at the price and the relatively small collection of movies. I’m a member of a hentai movie site and it has more than 1000 films for download so this obviously isn’t the biggest online. It’s really well done though and my other site doesn’t have the movies they do.
