Here is a rare thing: a site that has been seen on CNN, USA Today and CNBC, among others. It offers you pics and clips of famous actresses, thousands of clips in fact from movies and TV shows, and nude movies too. And, once you are inside, you’re going to find everything set out in a professionally designed interface, with loads of sample images, links to the blog and other little extras, and a well written site that is informative, fun and erotic to. It's a neat mix of all things entertaining for the adult-site lover and comes in at a very decent price too.

I guess the main idea of Mr Skin is that you get to see clips of your favourite actresses, either in their G rated shows, that is, dressed, or sometimes in clips from lesser known movies and shows where they were nude – or almost nude, or flashing something they shouldn’t have flashed. You've got top lists where the site gives you what it thinks are the top nude scenes of the year or the decade, and other lists to help you find who and what you want to see. They make it easy to find your favourite girls here, and there are hundreds that you may not have seen nude before. And you get to see loads of other sexy clips too.

The only thing I didn’t find, when looking around inside here, was something that told me exactly what the site is about. But it is still pretty clear when you read across the top menu: Celebrities, TV shows, Movies and Videos. The first thing that hits you is the large search box, so you type in the name of who you want to see and then find out if she is there or not. You've got samples and suggestions on the home page as well as updates and lists of what’s new at the site. Further down you can subscribe to the newsletter and look at the most popular blog posts.

You see, the site also has a blog so that’s another way of keeping in touch with the regularly added content. The top menu takes you to those places I mentioned, and there is an alphabetical list of celebs to browse through too. It’s all well laid out and easy to move around, and as a member you get the chance to comment too. Reading comments already made by members it looks like no one is scared to say what they feel here, so the site comes across as honest.

When I came to the movies page though, as an example of how things work, I didn’t find what I expected. There were box shot covers, links to directors and suggested scenes in the nude scene guide part of the page, but none of your standard sample pics linking you to scenes. You need to check these pages carefully at first to see how they work, then you start to get the hang of it, and finally you will find the clips. It probably works best if you know who you want to see and you use the search engine, otherwise I found it a bit hit and miss. But once I was up to speed on how the site worked, well it was plain sailing from then on.

What you have to understand and expect here is lots of information. This site isn’t just about bunging up some clips and photos where famous girls have got their tits out, though there are many of those kind of scenes. You also get reviews of scenes and actresses, links to where you can buy DVDs that are sampled, you've got various amounts of clips per movie depending on how much nudity there is in it, and the same goes for the photos too. You won't find a gallery list or a movie list as such, you need to wade through using the suggestions or your own knowledge of stars, in order to find viewable content – by which I mean movies and photos.

The images I found, in many cases, were screen caps, taken from the clips, but these were a decent size and viewable. I followed one particular star from the movies page, through the Nude Scene Guide, then via her name to finally find a list of scenes from various movies where she appeared nude. The clip came with screen caps and the movie itself opened in a new window and ran in Flash with a choice of high or low resolution, I didn’t find any downloading. In fact I found the content was quite hard to get to, but once I had, the quality was fine.

I am trying to think of a way to sum up the content at Mr Skin. It’s not exactly pornographic or too raunchy, though I didn’t see everything. You’ve got headline descriptions announcing that ‘so-and-so shows a bit of ass crack as she gets out of the water’, or whatever’ so it really does get down to the details. And it’s very good on details and they obviously take what they do seriously. But I did find that if you don’t know what you’re looking for, and you basically want to be led through celeb nudity, then you’re going to have a hard time.

As a member you get to see some ‘Specials’ a page where you can find offers and deals for sign up opportunities to other sites. There is also the blog and the newsletter to view, and you can get involved with your comments.

Pros:

• This is a site that knows what it is doing and goes into great detail;
• There are many famous and lesser known babes here, and some nudity;
• This is a site that updates regularly;
• The quality of what you find is good;
• You can get interactive.

Cons:

• I found it hard to get used to and difficult to find the nude scenes;
• It was frustrating to have to know who you want to see rather than having all the ‘best bits’ laid out for you;
• There is almost too much to see and do on many pages.

I love the idea, but I didn't, in the end, like the layout of the site. More, I didn’t like the navigation. If you know who you want to find then you'll be ok, but once you've found her showing her tits or ass-crack, and you want to find… well, someone hot, you’re going to be in the dark a bit. A list of scenes would be good, and you can use the alphabetical list of names to see who might catch your eye, but you may, like me, get frustrated at not being able to easily find someone you've never thought of. Having said that, Mr Skin is worthy of all the press attention it has received in the past and is definitely worth checking out.

Totally agree. I love celeb sites where you get things given to you on a plate and I found the only way to use the site here was to go alphabetically and look trough the (huge) list of names for someone I recognised. There were loads that I didn’t. You can use the updates page and the drop down list and scroll rough that way too, but you’re better off if you know who you want to see.

Great quality stuff, some really rare footage, and of course some very sexy women. From Shirley Maclaine (!) down to Naomi Campbell, there are literally thousands of female celebs in here. Not all nude of course and yes there are some silly ‘see her left nipple for a second’ clips and pics, but that’s part of the fun, It’s a great site for celeb views, though not much scandal, and once you’re used to how it works it’s great.

Getting involved is great and I love the way you can write and say ‘you’re top 10 of the decade is rubbish’ and they still publish it. It’s really honest, and actually I thought their top 10 was fine, others didn’t. There is so much to see and do here what with the blog and all the updates, which are about daily I think, that you’re going to need to stay as a member for a long time. Go for it and see what all the fuss is about.
