The members’ area is fairly simple here: you have a left list of categories and studios and a top menu to take you to the titles, the model index and details about your account, hep and support. It’s easy to navigate and the design is dark and moody but not over the top. When you come to stream a scene you have a floating Flash screen which contains within it various running speeds, so you can view at speeds from 54kb up to 1623kb, and that means that no one should have a problem viewing anything.

I have to say that the site is actually quite basic in other respects. Although it has good viewing options for the stream only movies, it doesn’t contain any of the extra features that members of adult sites often like to see. For example there is no gallery area and not even any screen caps, there are no interactive functions so you can’t add anything to a favourites store area, you can’t rate or comment on the content, and there are no search and sort options to speak off. I mentioned the list of 17 categories, and using this is just one way of getting to the content. You can also opt to see all content and you can use the horny faces in the model index to guide you. Whichever way you go though you will always find simple index pages that give you box shots and DVD covers. From there you can click to see the details of the DVDs, and these can be brief but include links to the models, or you can click straight to the stream. The moves are also arranged by studio if you want to find titles that way.

I know you like a content count so I went to the ‘all videos’ option and there found 20 full titles per index page and 25 index pages. My calculator tells me that this means you’ve got 500 full DVDs to view and these come from the five studios I mentioned above. The info page for the DVDs didn’t tell me how many scenes there were per title but let’s assume they have five, an average amount. That’s something like 2,500 individual scenes to watch. Or look at it this way: each scene is an average 20 minutes in length, so that’s around 830 hours’ worth of viewing. Now you are going to need more than a month to see all of that!

And quality? Well, these are top studios but the viewing quality is up to you and what your connection can handle as these are stream only movies. I’m on what I’d call a mid-range connection and I was able to view at full screen in a certain resolution with no trouble, a bit of start and stop until the buffering got ahead, but otherwise fine. The performances were fine too, there was great variety and loads of movies I’d never seen before, plenty of hardcore and no complaints at all. Good, solid DVDs that you can buy in the stores, but as a member of the Male Vault, you get to see them online whenever you want.

There are no bonuses here, no extras sites or feeds, or galleries or anything apart from the large stock of quality porn DVDs.
