Here is a site that prides itself on having only genuine, homemade, amateur clips. But it also says it’s friendly and fun to use, easy to navigate and regularly updated. So why choose this one over the many other sites that contain only home footage? Well, that’s what we’re going to ask ourselves as we look through the site. I’m still not sure if you can send in your own home tapes here. I don’t think it’s one of those sites where you get a reward for doing so. But your reward is to view the content that the site has somehow got its hands on and that’s good enough for me. What you are looking at with HQ Home Clips are short scenes that are both hardcore and soft-core, plus photos, of real couples and real girls and boys who have filmed themselves having fun. And the next thing to know is that there is variety. There are older couples, younger ones, ethnic folk, close-ups and wider views, and we are also told that the quality is going to be good.

Just as the tour promised, your members’ area is not only well stocked but it is also well maintained. There are four main categories in your main menu: hard and soft core clips and hard and soft core photos. The first page shows you what’s new and it looks like there is an update schedule of at least one new clip each day. Sample photos are a good size and quality, everything is well laid out and there are options to change the number of samples per page, you can see what’s in the top list and what’s new. There is also a sleek design that’s atmospheric and yet makes for easy navigation.

First impressions? Looks great to me! I checked the top list page and found it was all text, very scientific and impressive. Then I tried to movies and galleries pages to see how they worked. Changing the number of sample images (with links to the actual content) to 30 per page is a neat way to see more in one go. There was plenty to catch the eye here and the quality level was still being maintained. Opening an individual movie’s page you find a large enough Flash screen, information about the clip: date added, who uploaded it, file sizes and how many downloads it has had. You’re also able to rate the clip if you want to, and the only other things I’d have liked here was the ability to jump through the scene in the player. (You can do that once it’s fully buffered though.)

Navigation buttons take you directly to the next and previous clip in the list so you don’t need to go back to the index pages every time, which is another neat trick. The gallery pages have thumbnail sample shots to guide you, a little small, but functional, and you are able to sort the content here by such things as date. Click a thumbnail to get to the gallery where the samples are much larger, there’s information and easy navigation, and where individual images open up, like the videos, to good sizes and come with rates, and information.

You want numbers now don’t you? Ok then, how about: 698 hardcore clips, 125 soft, 54 hardcore photo sets and 30 soft. Not bad and remember the regular updates. Most of this content is shot from a man’s POV, in that the camera concentrates on the ladies, who are a nicely varied mix.

As for the actual homemade-ness of the movies… Well, I am a bit sceptical and some of these clips were such a good quality that you’d think they were studio productions. I am also not sure where they come from as I didn’t see anyway to upload your own. But the quality is good and high. It’s Flash all the way, so I am not able to tell you the actual dimensions (but I’d say around 640 x 480 @ 849kbps), but even at full screen the movies were perfectly viewable. The photos too were digital and clear and I had no complaints about the quality. It’s strange though how amateur made porn can look so good. Perhaps the site only finds and chooses HQ scenes that are somehow submitted or found. So, if you’re used to those other home porn sites where you have to squint to see anything, and were the quality is generally rubbish, then HQ Home Clips is going to restore your faith in home porn moviemaking.

The next good thing about the content here is that it is varied. Not only are the ‘models’, with Asian boys and girls, amateur men and women, sexy young wannabe porn stars, fatter guys, housewives and so on, but so is the action. There isn't a category list as such so you have to check the titles or the content itself to see what happens, but you will find: sex in the toilets, full on anal and pussy pounding, lesbian scenes and galleries, oral scenes (from a guy’s POV, neat) and cum shots aplenty.

There are no bonus sites attached here and nothing by way of extras. But you can get slightly involved with rates and comments, and there are top list and update news pages.

The HQ Home Clips are certainly high quality, and numerous, leading me to wonder if they are all self-submitted, and if so, how. But apart from that… You've got some great amateur porn here, with a wide variety of girls and guys simply having fun and then filming it. The site is very well designed so you should have no technical trouble at all, the pages load fast, you can get involved with rates and comments and you get good value too. But the best thing is that the amateur porn is varied, high quality and hot, and you’re getting regular updates too.

There are some very good quality clips in here, and photos I have to say. This site knocks the many other similar sites into a cocked hat, as they say, because it only uses good quality content; there is none of the misty, fuzzy and darkly lit stuff you find elsewhere. It’s all pretty horny too.
