Anime Planet X is a site that features some of the most amazing porn 3D renderings I have ever seen. Some of these babes have been created remarkably well and all for our pure viewing enjoyment. The site’s inner design like most designs for anime sites is actually pretty bad. Aside from the logo which is ok, it has no background, merely a solid blue. There are two main bars, one at the top of the page next to the logo and the other one at the very bottom of the page. The first one has maybe too many options, 9 to be precise. Newest, Anime, Coeds, Fetish, Guests, Holidays, Requests, Sci-Fi and Voyeur. Except for Newest which list the latest updates, all the other are picture set categories.

What we have between the two main bars are some screenshots of the picture sets and 5 banners that link to other 3D animation sites. After choosing a picture category, 20 screenshots of the picture sets are shown. What I don’t get is why they choose blue fonts to show the title, it’s hard to read because it gets mixed with the background. All the picture sets can be rated but unfortunately there is no search tool that you can use to see which ones are the highest rated ones.

The bottom bar is actually the main bar since it has the option of going back to the Home Page. This bar lets you surf through the different areas in the site which are besides the home page, Downloads, 3D Comix, Puzzles, Requests and Support. There are no bonus sites or any other type of bonus content to see, what you as a member will have instead are a nice amount of porn comics and a few puzzle games. The 3D comix area only lists 3 comics which are actually only one divided into 3 different parts, the Downloads and Puzzles areas are the same area and it lists 14 puzzles that can download and enjoy, they’re pretty hot.

Like many other 3D porn animation sites, this one has no video content at all. What they do offer is a huge amount of 3D picture sets. Of course this is obviously negative since we always want at least a few clips to enjoy some motion. Unfortunately for those of you who thought you were going to be treated to some hot and intense sex sequences, I’m sorry to tell you guys that you’re out of luck. But it is not as bad as it sounds since the amount of pictures should be enough to satisfy anyone so you shouldn’t worry too much about this.

The picture content of this site is just massive. It is divided into many areas as I said before. So far the amount of picture sets they have is 258! Each picture set has at least 40 beautiful 3D images. All of them can be browsed using your browser and following the “next” and “prev” links. The quality of the images is great, they’re all in high resolution and luckily for us all there’s the possibility of downloading the sets with a single click in a comfortably ZIP file.

The updates are done in a regular basis, around three times a week, and as I always say that is something that helps keep members interested in the site. There’s at least one update every week and in my opinion the newest ones are the best, they have better images and it’s clear that they are paying more attention to detail with the passing of time. One thing I disliked a bit is that some sets appeared in two categories and that some scenes have the same characters having sex in different scenarios. I didn’t find many of these but just a few and I would like to see none in the future.

At first I thought that Anime Planet X was going to be awesome but after seeing the member’s area I must say that I wasn’t exactly as I expected it to be. In terms of navigation I find it hard to believe that any user will be pleased with it, the main bar is at the bottom of the page, there are two links that lead to the same area and the pictures are divided into a bit too many areas. The strong points of the site are the good quality of its images, the fact that they provide you with a wide variety of scenarios and that they are constantly updating its content. Overall the site manages to make you forget that you’re looking at animated characters and it does a very good job combining 3D animation with Japanese Hentai.

The lack of videos is annoying but as you adequately put in the review, the quality of the images is great and there are so many of them that a membership for one month is probably worth it, especially taking into account the quality of the cartoons.

Navigation sucks, no doubts there, I would have rather have less categories and a search tool. That and the fact that the site looks like crap are enough reason for me not spend a single dime in this place.

I don’t care much about not having videos, these things are hard to animate and when the animation is not done professionally, it sucks and it makes you realize you’re watching at a cartoon which is exactly what I do not want. My only complaint is that they should really make some improvements to the design as well as to the navigation; it’s really something that bores after a while.
