What’s free is the two day trial. You go to the signup page, you give them your credit card number and information and then they keep it on file. If you don’t cancel your membership before that two day trial is up then they bill you for $40. Thirty days after that you get billed again. They also have two boxes checked off on the join page that will sign you up for two more free two day trials that will also rebill at $40 if you don’t cancel them. Make sure you’re very careful if you sign up.

The member’s area is also badly done. It’s not that it’s ugly or particularly hard to use but they put in no effort at all. They basically listed every single scene on the entire site, including the bonus scenes, on one page. That’s several hundred thumbnailed images loading when you log in. They offer no useful information on any of the scenes except for the one thumbnail. You have no idea what you’re seeing until you click a pic and get started.

When you do that you’ll discover that these movies are streaming only. They use an embedded Windows Media Player and you can’t fast forward until the movie has been downloaded into your cache or temporary internet files or whatever it is. So you’re downloading it but you can’t actually save it. How fucked up is that? They divide each scene into 4-7 clips and give you a screenshot from each. There’s also a short and terrible description of each movie on the viewing page.

The girls are Almost Virgins are not virginal. They’re not innocent teens. These movies are super hardcore. They’re the kind of fuck films where the guys are basically using the girls like fuck holes, not like sexual partners. There’s a little bit of misogyny in this content, although that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I don’t want to sound like an asshole here, but it can be fun to fantasize about having a girl that’s basically thrilled to have you use her body like a hot fuck hole. Calling the site Almost Virgins is disingenuous though. These girls are far, far from virgins.

They have 64 videos and while they claim daily updates I know that the content count doesn’t actually change. They could be adding new videos every day but they’re not keeping the old ones in the member’s area. They also have 29 picture galleries and while those are nice they’re definitely non-exclusive and it’s such a small collection that it’s hardly worth mentioning. Almost Virgins isn’t a bad site, it’s just not worth joining. First, the site isn’t about cute and innocent teenage girls getting fucked. It’s not about girls that are almost virgins. It’s about girls that have been fucked hundreds of times and love it so much that they’re doing nasty porn. That’s fine but they should have named the site something else. The 64 videos are hot but they’re streaming only, they play in a Windows Media Player and the bit rate is relatively low so they look grainy if you bump them up to full screen. They don’t appear to update and while the bonus content is fun none of it is worth $40/month.

It all comes down to price with Almost Virgins. If you only join for the two day free trial and then you cancel your membership then this is a great site. If you pay for the full membership then you have wasted your money like a fool. It’s not worth that.

The thing I object to about Almost Virgins is the greediness. The site is lazily designed with everything slapped onto the main page, none of the content can be downloaded, there are no updates and I’m pretty sure it’s all non-exclusive. For all that they want you to pay $40/month if you make a mistake and forget to cancel your trial.

The pre-checked cross sells are the worst thing about the site. They’re down at the bottom of the join page and the print is small so I can see how people wouldn’t notice them. They probably don’t even tell you what you’ve joined and then two days later you get billed for $80 and you have no idea what’s going on. These sorts of business practices should not be rewarded.
